Harness Desensitization

In this video we are focusing on helping Odin feel comfortable with wearing his harness. We are breaking it down step by step for you!

How to Teach Eye Contact

The up down game is an exercise to teach your dog how to give eye contact on cue. This is a great behaviour to help your dog focus on you

Emergency UTurns

Sometimes on walks with your dog you just have to get away from something, perhaps another dog. We practice taking uturns when there are no triggers around. Now when there are triggers around my dog knows how to uturn and that turning with me earns him a reward.

Engage and Disengage

Engage and Disengage is an exercise we use for dogs who react to things in their environment. We allow our dog to look at the trigger from a distance where he won't react. We ask our dog to look back at us and they he gets a reward! We are teaching our dogs that when they look at a trigger it is more rewarding to check in with us then to react.

How To Make A Snuffle Mat

Using a snuffle mat is an engaging and enriching activity for your dog.  Hide treats or their kibble food in the snuffle mat. Your dog will have to use their sniffing snoot to find the food and eat it.
